Does this sound familiar?

Sometimes it is hard even to describe what you feel

If one of these sounds familiar, talking about it can be a good place to start.

  • From the outside everything looks fine, but inside there is constant tension.
  • When you go to bed, your mind will not switch off and the same thoughts keep circling.
  • You seem to have the same argument again and again, in different relationships.
  • After a loss or a big change, life has not found its rhythm again.
  • You have built a life abroad, yet sometimes you feel you do not fully belong in either place.
  • You are not quite sure why you feel this way; you just know you do not want to carry on like this.
How I work

Changing the present, understanding the past

01

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Focuses on noticing the thought and behaviour cycles that keep you stuck and trying out practical steps for today.

02

Psychodynamic therapy

Explores how recurring feelings and relationship patterns connect to the past.

We decide together in the first sessions which approach to emphasise, based on what you need. About →

  3. The first sessionSessions usually last 50 minutes, online or in person. We talk about what brings you here; you never have to share anything you do not want to.
  4. Deciding togetherWe agree together on how often to meet and how to proceed, and review the process at regular intervals.
  • Fees are shared when you get in touch.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as early as possible; the cancellation terms are shared when you book.
  • This site and the contact form are not suitable for emergencies. In an emergency, call 112.

How do I know if I should start therapy?

If something has been on your mind for a long time, or is affecting your daily life, sleep or relationships, it may be worth seeking support. You can also start therapy without a specific problem, simply to understand yourself better.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is a chance to get to know each other. We talk about what brings you here, your expectations and anything you would like to share about your background. You decide how much to share.

Is online therapy as effective as in person therapy?

For many people, online sessions can be just as productive as in person sessions. What matters is being in a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable. We can decide together which option suits you better.

Are sessions confidential?

Yes. What you share in sessions is kept confidential within professional ethics and the law. The legal limits of confidentiality, for example when someone's life is at serious risk, are discussed openly in the first session.

Whenever you feel ready, I am here
